Today we will show you how to Set up Corporate Exchange Email with the Xperia™ ion by Sony. To begin, from the home screen tap Email. Please Note: To setup an additional account, from the inbox, press the Menu key-Settings-Add account. Next enter your email address and account password, and then tap Manual setup. Please Note: If you have more than one email account configured on the device, you will have the option to check "Send email from this account by default". Tap to check if desired. Now tap Exchange Active Sync. Enter your email account information and then tap Next. • Domain/Username • Password • Server • Use secure connection (SSL) • Accept all SSL certificates If a security policy is enabled, a notification will be displayed. Tap OK. Configure the account options as desired, and then tap Next. • Inbox check frequency • Days to sync • Send email from this account by default (only displayed if multiple accounts are configured) • Notify me when email arrives • Sync contacts from this account • Sync calendar from this account • Sync email from this account • Download attachments automatically when connected to Wi-Fi network A Device administrator message may display. Tap Activate. • Select and configure the desired security type and tap OK. Please Note: Available security options are determined by exchange network administrator and security options may vary. Enter the desired email account label and then tap Next. Your email inbox will be displayed. Test the setup by sending an email.
