Creating 300 dpi (dot per inch or pixel per inch) resolution images (TIFF file) are required to submit figures to scientific research journals for publication. In most cases figures are assembled in Microsoft Office PowerPoint for presentation as well as for publication. This video shows a simple way of converting each PowerPoint slides into a 300 dpi image (.TIFF file) for publication. Adobe Photoshop is required for this process and resolution can be increased or reduced. It works for both Windows and Mac.
