The USA mens soccer team (voetbal) came pretty close in the end to almost playing to a tie in the chilly Amsterdam ArenA, which would have been the first time ever in the history between the two. (Why not close that roof!) The Dutch side out-classed the US on the field and that was often evident, but did they not play at their best level and will have to work more as a team toward the football world cup in South Africa later this early summer! Good to see that Stekelenburg from the Netherlands can make saves when needed though in the last minutes!
