Equity Put Call Ratio Reaches Extremes Time to Sell 5/18/2013 The Put / Call ratio chart found below is showing that we are reaching some extremes to the low side. That would mean very little put options. We have few people selling. When this reaches extremes to the low side, it is a good indicator that sellers will start to come in and take profits. Eventually you run out of buyers. The opposite works when there is extreme sellers or a high put / call ratio. The sellers dry up and buyers come in and take control.
