(See v5 for the finished program!) Apple II Conversion software created as a side project for the BOX OS 4.0, for Kansas Fest, an annual get together of people celebrating the APPLE II Family line of computers and showcasing the homebrew/hardware that people can come up with. This is a demonstration of 'early' MIDI to Apple II software to create semi complex music VERY easily, usually making whole songs in mere minutes. Eh, not too bad. For those not familure, usually the APPLE II is capable of only one note at a time, as the sound chips originate from the 1970's. Many other computers from the 80's can easily blow the socks off this meager sound chip. There are multi-note software available, or the computer is upgradable with different hardware expansions, but this 'KEYLOGO' Software runs with everything stock. This is truly a side project diverting my main focus of BOX 4.0 operating system, a continuation of a series of programs/shells I did as a kid. This video in no way represents its graphical capabilities. Also, the BOX 4.0 shell multitasks between programs without 'hardware expansions'... and is quite ingenious for such old hardware, cant wait to show it off!
