I'm using an old song that many of you are probably familiar with (it was always on the radio at one point in time LOL). I chose a theme that I don't think has been done before: villains and antiheroes and antagonists and their rise to power. Our villains simply don't get enough love in the MAP community, and it's time to change that! So break out your baddies and give this MAP a whirl! RULES: -The song is separated into four parts: humble beginnings (parts 1-8), rise to power (9-18), absolute power (19-26), and fall from grace (27-28). -Follow the color palette seen in the video, which is here http://sta.sh/026thymimu0j. You can be flexible with the palette and add colors in between the spectrums if you need more than five. -OCs and OCs ONLY! It's okay to use OCs from copyrighted series, but absolutely NO copyrighted characters are to be in your parts. -Do not directly follow the song's lyrics. What I mean by this is when, for example, he says "me and my friends saw a platypus," don't animate your OC finding a platypus. Instead follow the general theme of each part. -Your part can be a bit bloody, but PLEASE no extreme gore! -Do not add a watermark please! I'll add watermarks when I edit the video. -Please, please make your video 1280x720 or 1920x1080! I don't want to have to stretch your beautiful animations :c -Parts 15-17 don't need to have a lot of animation in them, so if you're a beginner or hesitant to animate, aim for those three! -One part per person! -To submit your part, create a Sendspace and link me the video or email me at blithebeats@yahoo.com. -If you've read the rules, tell me which OC you're going to use, and if they're from a copyrighted series, where they're from. I wanna know more about your guys' OCs! Deadline is February 28th. I am aiming for everyone to get their parts in by this date, so if you need an extension, PLEASE let me know ahead of time. Deadline for backups and extensions is March 20th. PLEASE do not surpass this date! EDIT: FINAL DEADLINE IS MAY 1ST. IF YOU DON'T HAVE YOUR PART IN BY THEN, YOU WILL BE DROPPED.
